Gearing up for Valentine's Day this week? Me too! No matter what your plans are (going out or staying in, with the gals or with the guy) you know you want to have the perfect outfit on!
I have put together three looks for Valentine's Day for each level of style (cocktail style, dressy style, and casual style). You are bound to find some sort of inspiration for your plans here today!
First up, cocktail style attire! (I would categorize this below 'black tie' but above 'dressy' for reference.) For this look, I chose a beautiful red midi dress with FLARE from Vici. *I have always heard great things about their clothing but have not tried it out myself. I do find so much inspiration in their website + social media though!* Unfortunately this dress is currently sold out, understandable so. It's just $52! It would be easy to style it the rest of the way as they did in the photo, but you could also change out the accessories for things that you already have!
I would style it with black heels and a black clutch to keep the look super sleek. I would add a very simple statement earring to not deter from the beauty of the dress.
My second look is a dressy look that you would wear on a typical date night! This look includes a gray sweater dress with a wrap style + tie front. A very easy piece to wear over and over again! I would pair this with cognac brown over the knee boots + leather jacket along with popping a color of burgundy with a clutch or bag. At just $24 you can't pass up a staple piece like this!
I would accessorize with a simple necklace and earrings and very simple makeup with a modest lip color.
The casual look I put together is for a night in of cooking/baking together and watching a movie or binge watching your favorite shows! To keep comfortable, I went with a graphic ($34) + cardigan ($54) combo that you can pair with either jeans or leggings depending on what kind of gal you are! This cardigan is a less chunky version of the bubble sleeved cardigans that I have been seeing everywhere lately!
Get the ingredients for your favorite supper + a bottle of wine for a cooking at home date!
